What information do we collect, and who collects it?
This site, longandshort.co.uk, is run by Long & Short Publishing, and we are responsible for the personal information collected here. When you fill in a form on this site, we collect your first name and your email address, with your consent. That is all we ask for and all we keep. If you have a question about your data, email us at hello@longandshort.co.uk and a real person will answer.
Why do we collect it?
To send you what you asked for. That means the first chapter of Practical Manifestation: The Magic Formula if you requested it, plus the occasional email that matters, such as The Lab opening or the audiobook arriving. We write when there's something worth writing about, and no more. We never sell your details, and we never share them with anyone who has no business seeing them.
How is your information stored, and for how long?
Securely, by Wix.com, the platform this site runs on. Wix processes and stores data on our behalf on secured servers. Only we have access to the list. We keep your details for as long as you are on the list. When you unsubscribe, or when you ask us to delete your details, they go.
How can you withdraw your consent?
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you are off the list. You can also email hello@longandshort.co.uk and we will remove you ourselves. Under UK data protection law, you can ask to see the information we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct it or delete it altogether.
