The Long and the Short of it.

Two coaches. We met in 2004 on a course in London and adopted each other on the spot. We could not be more different, and that turned out to be the entire point.

LEXIE, THE LONG

Lexie ranges wide, reads everything, and sits with you in the messy middle until you can see what actually matters. Her work is the clearing. The old beliefs, the stuck patterns, the feelings you’ve been busy avoiding. People leave feeling clearer and lighter, like they’re back at the wheel.

CAROL, THE SHORT

Carol might say the thing you’ve been thinking but haven’t quite admitted yet. She spots the pattern, names what’s really going on, and asks the question that shifts everything. Then she helps you decide where you want to go, map out the route, and take the steps to get there.

Before discovering this work, my experience of life felt slightly flat and I constantly felt worried about one thing or another, without really being able to explain why. There was no obvious reason for it, and yet just being myself felt oddly exhausting. I hid it well, but underneath I often felt overwhelmed, anxious and annoyingly oversensitive.

When I first started I was living alone in a studio flat in Washington DC, hiding from my own neighbours, ducking back inside when I heard someone in the corridor so I wouldn't have to share thirty seconds and a lift with another human being. I was stuck in myself, and I couldn't see a way out, so I'd stopped looking for one.

Two different bottoms. Same way out.
